On October 30, the 23rd “Shenzhen Enterprise Innovation Records” review meeting was held in Shenzhen. After careful deliberation by all members of the Shenzhen Enterprise Innovation Records Review Committee, 216 projects from 159 companies were approved as the 23rd “Shenzhen Enterprise Innovation Records”.
This Shenzhen Enterprise Innovation Record was officially launched on April 16 this year, involving 24 industries such as communication equipment, software, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and general equipment manufacturing. A total of 159 companies and 216 projects were shortlisted in the preliminary review, including 148 product research and development projects, 33 production and manufacturing projects, and 35 modern service projects. Among the above projects, 15 projects have won national, provincial, and municipal science and technology progress awards.
It is reported that the “Shenzhen Enterprise Innovation Record” has been launched since 2002 and has been carried out for 23 years. In the first 22 sessions, 3468 “Shenzhen Enterprise Innovation Records” from 1,830 companies were approved and released, covering more than 80 sub-industries. This activity has become a training ground for enterprises’ independent innovation and a big stage for displaying innovative achievements, and has made positive contributions to the high-quality economic development of our city and the accelerated construction of an industrial science and technology innovation center with global influence.
The review and release of the “Shenzhen Enterprise Innovation Record” not only fully demonstrated the innovative vitality and fruitful innovative achievements of Shenzhen enterprises, but also effectively promoted the sustainable development of Shenzhen enterprises’ independent innovation capabilities. The strength of the enterprises applying for the projects this year is remarkable. Among them, 85.3% of the applicants are national high-tech enterprises, with an average annual sales revenue of 862 million yuan. There are 24 national, provincial and municipal manufacturing single champions, 23 national-level specialized and new “little giants”, 22 provincial-level “specialized and new” small and medium-sized enterprises, and 54 municipal-level “specialized and new” small and medium-sized enterprises, accounting for a total of 75%, an increase of 7% over last year. Among all the applicants, Nanshan District leads, followed by Bao’an District, Longhua District and Guangming District, showing the role of Nanshan District and other science and technology strong districts in promoting the city’s scientific and technological innovation. Among them, companies such as Kaisheng Technology and Shenzhen Chuan Technology promote sustainable development through technological innovation and environmental protection practices; companies such as Sinopharm Zhijun Pharmaceutical, Leishen Technology, and Hongmei Digital Textile improve production efficiency through technological innovation.
