Yesterday, the reporter learned from Meizhou City that the Meizhou Municipal Agriculture and Rural Affairs Bureau recently issued the “Five-Year Plan for the High-Quality Development of Meizhou Hakka Pre-Prepared Food (2024-2028)” (hereinafter referred to as the “Plan”), proposing to strive to promote the output value of the entire pre-prepared food industry chain in Meizhou to break through 10 billion yuan by 2028. It is reported that in 2023, Meizhou City will cultivate more than 40 large-scale Hakka pre-prepared food enterprises, with a total output value of 1.69 billion yuan for the whole year.
The “Plan” proposes that the development plan of the Hakka pre-prepared food industry in Meizhou follows the general principle of “one county, one policy”, based on Meizhou’s agricultural resource endowment and market location advantages, and plans a new development pattern of “1+3+8+N” for the high-quality development of the Hakka pre-prepared food industry in Meizhou.
