On October 26, the 2024 China Outdoor Sports Industry Conference opened in Dali, Yunnan. The reporter learned from the Shenzhen Mountaineering and Outdoor Sports Association that Shenzhen Kunpeng Trail was named a 2024 mountaineering and outdoor sports destination at the opening ceremony of the conference.
As the main line of Shenzhen’s hiking trails, Kunpeng Trail starts from the natural and cultural resort of Phoenix Mountain Feiyunding in the west and ends at the geological wonder of Qiniang Mountain (formerly known as “Dapeng Mountain” in “Xin’an County Chronicles”) Dayanding in the east. It is about 200 kilometers long and is divided into 20 sections, crossing mountains, forests, lakes, streams, and coasts. The western part of Kunpeng Trail has a gentle terrain, the central part has a complex terrain, and the eastern part has dense mountains. It connects more than ten major peaks, 17 natural suburban parks, 8 large lakes and reservoirs, 10 historical and cultural sites, more than 30 urban scenic spots, and nine major urban key development areas… It connects mountains, reaches the sea, penetrates the city, and connects fun.
In recent years, Shenzhen has actively built a “three trails and three lines” hiking trail system connecting mountains, sea and city, and promoted the rapid development of the outdoor sports industry. Kunpeng Trail has become a shining business card for Shenzhen’s outdoor sports. With its unique natural scenery and rich outdoor sports resources, it has attracted the attention and praise of many outdoor sports enthusiasts.
