On the afternoon of November 8, the 2024 Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Global Investment Promotion Conference was held in Guangzhou. The conference was jointly held by the governments of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao, and sincerely invited global companies to enter the Greater Bay Area, explore new business opportunities, and share new opportunities. Huang Kunming, Secretary of the Guangdong Provincial Party Committee, attended the conference and delivered a speech. This conference was held in the form of a “1+9+N” series of activities, namely 1 main event, 9 Pearl River Delta city investment promotion conferences, and N domestic and overseas roadshows and industry investment promotion activities, which received positive responses and strong support from global companies. Entrepreneurs such as Kaili, Chairman of the Executive Board of BASF Group of Germany, Kuok Khoon Hong, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Wilmar International Group of Singapore, and Woodlen, Chairman and CEO of ExxonMobil Corporation of the United States, spoke at the conference and shared their experience in investment and development in the Greater Bay Area.
